Important information regarding pricing, delivery and payment is given below.

Do not use this site if you do not agree to the following:

Payment

1. For avoidance of fraud in credit card payments, Scootling Ltd ("we") reserve the right to telephone any cardholder to check the identity of the purchaser.
2. If there is the possibility a purchase is fraudulent we reserve the right to stall delivery of the product until further verification is made.
3. New Zealand Dollars (NZD) is the currency that payment is taken in for all purchases (unless stated otherwise at the Payment Processing "PayPal" or "Paymate" page). Note that prices given in other currencies in the shop are not necessarily the rate that your bank will charge you, but we attempt to keep foreign currency prices close to the interbank rates. They are NOT real time currency cross exchange rates.
4. Additional bank fees may be added by your bank or other parties. This may be in the form of an exchange rate set by the bank, or an additional fee. We do not control any costs except the shop prices shown in NZD.
5. In New Zealand shipments are usually sent using a service that requires a signature for delivery.
6. We reserve the right to ask for a signed purchase order for large purchases, before shipment is made.
7. If you want to purchase more than two of the same items please contact us first to avoid refusal.

Users who are not from New Zealand
Users from UK, USA or Australia may use this site but only to purchase parts, not riding gear or fuels/oils/lubricants. You can purchase batteries but they will be supplied without acid. Users from these countries also need to register using an email address that is not a free web-based one. If you are not from NZ, and you do not use a billed email address we will not ship anything to you. We abide by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1992 and not your local legislation. As an overseas resident New Zealand Consumer laws do not protect you.

Information on products

1. All care is taken when listing fitment info, photos and other information but mistakes are possible. If we inconvenience you through a mistake made in the given information we will do what we can to rectify it. However Scootling Ltd can not be held responsible for any losses or damages arising from such mistakes.
2. Certain packaging or appearance of items may vary from the products shown in photos. However the quality, performance and specifications of the product will be as stated in the text description.
3. Information and specifications given on scooter parts are either from the manufacturer or from Scootling Ltd's own testing or measurements. We do not take any responsibility for how the product performs when used with your scooter, because of the possibility of problems with the host scooter or errors in fitment.
4. Reviews given on each product are from genuine buyers and is their own, unsolicited impression of it. This is not an express or implied warranty on how it will perform for you.

Stock and delivery

1. We will not deliver to addresses other than Residences or Offices. If you need delivery to Hotels, Po Boxes or APOs payment must be made by TT / Bank Draft.
   
2. A purchase is not considered complete until the payment has been accepted correctly and the status in the payment processor (e.g. Paymate) is not 'Pending' or 'Failed'.
3. When your payment clears your purchases will be packaged and the outward shipping booked that day if in stock and within the hours of 9.00am to 2.30pm NZ Standard Time. Completed purchases received after 2.30pm may not be sent that day.
   
4. If in NZ your order is completed on a Friday by 2.00pm NZT and you want delivery made on Saturday in NZ, purchase a Saturday Delivery Ticket with your order. Only available in Metro/certain city areas.
   
5. If you want delivery made to a Rural Area in NZ (includes 'RD1, RD2' areas etc), purchase a Rural Delivery Ticket with your order.
6. Delivery in New Zealand is usually made overnight following completion of payment, except on Saturdays unless a Saturday Delivery ticket is purchased separately. Delivery may take longer to rural areas.
7. In the unlikely event that a product you purchase is actually out of stock, Scootling will replenish that stock and deliver the item to you as soon as possible. In most cases this can be done with one (1) working day's delay. In the case that the goods need to come from overseas stock, the delay may be five (5) working days or more. We do not offer refunds in these cases, except where obliged to under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
8. Goods will not be despatched on Sundays or New Zealand Public holidays.
9. In the case of credit card payments, if the goods are to be received by someone other than the cardholder that person must be identified when the order is placed and satisfactory identification will be required when receiving the goods.

Non-liability

1. Scootling Ltd will not be held responsible for any losses or damage arising from use or installation of any items.

Use of products

1. Scootling Ltd does not intend these items to be used for illegal means, or as part of illegal modifications.
   
2. You agree to use these products in accordance with your local applicable laws.
3. Some racing and performance parts will not allow certain scooters to be registered under some vehicle categories, e.g. as a moped.
